My bike 'Jenna'
Thanks about the bike. I bought that one a year old still in the crate at an incredible discount. The pic in the link is of it when I bought it new, unloaded it, took it into my kitchen, then tore it down, I tore the nose off but I don't think I have pics of that on there. I took a bunch of stuff off of it, made a custom tail setup, and powdercoated a few parts to black it out. Then levers, exhaust, bizzaz, etc. I spent about 12 years riding 600's held together with zip ties, and scrapes all over them. Then in 2006 I had a couple of eye opener accidents that completly changed my riding style. So I figured now that I am not pushing every limit all of the time I would grab a nice bike (the 929RR) and try to keep it that way. I still bank it over and hit it pretty hard in some of the canyons but am mostly a mellow rider any more. I still have the niner and that has become the little ladys bike.
I think we have a little bit of the grass is greener on the other side going on here, I think your bike is looking real damn good. I can't wait to see some pics after you get that nose piece and lights set up. That should be pretty mean looking. Sorry about jacking your thread, but keep the pics comming.

Oh you know it. The next day (Mon.) I took mine about half way up to the top and found a little side road. I found a couple of muddy fields to test the new tires out then went up further into the snow. I got to where the snow was above the frame and had some moments that got my heart racing. I was alone and out of phone range so I decided to call it a day. While turning it around I had it sunk almost to the doors, so I hopped out to take some pics but I left the camera's memory card in my computer, I about threw a toddler style tantrum. I did run across some Jeeps with tires that came up to my waste and running about 15lbs of preasure that were crawling around in some seriously deep snow.
Ok so I got it on last night and wired up for the most part.

And here is how it sits with the gauges.

Over all I like it so far, but the beam pattern from the projectors is terrible.

I tried to fix it, but it is just a cheap projector housing. So at some point I want to get a pair of projectors from Theretrofitsource.com
I still need to clean up the rats nest of wiring under it, but I'll do that sometime later.
Here are some shots of the lights when they are on.
Low beam.

High beam.

And here are the bulbs that came as the high beam originaly.

Yes those are T10 bulbs.
That's why I used the other projector as the high beam. (I took out the light shield on that side.)

So I ordered some H1 bi-xenon projectors from theretrofitsource.com tonight. Pics and installation fun-ness when they get here.
So 3 days later and here they are!

They are a little bigger than my old ones I was using before.

But I found a way to hook them up. Just one for now, but I'll get the other one mounted tomorrow.

Here is my favorite part.

It's only like 9ft from the projector so the cutoff is a little blurry this close, but you get the idea.
And here is how it looks with it off.

Not too bad if I do say so myself.

So I got it finished last night, just not installed on the bike yet.

And I got it on the bike today.

^ This is how it looks with them on from above the cutoff line.
And here is below it.

I still need to do some adjusting to get them both lined up right. One is about 5-10 degrees rotated in relation to the other. But I'll get to fixing it soon. More night shots tonight.

Well I must say these are my most favorite mod to date.

Here you can see the small difference in rotation.

And the high beams.

Man I love these things. They will light up all the lanes on a 4 lane highway well enough for anyone on it to see while driving. The difference is literally night and day with these. I'm fairly certain I've found my next project for the blazer, once I've finished the tail lights.

Yeah I love them.
Tonight I had some $$ on my paypal account so I decided to get some more leds for Jenna. I got one of these.

It's a high powered brake light. I also ordered a pair of led bulbs for the turn signal indicators.

Ok sorry I took a little while to get pics up of the brake light.
Here is the original bulb output.

And the led bulb.

It's just a little brighter, but every little bit makes a difference.
