There is some scratches on one of the projectors lens too.

But she still starts right up and runs good.

Wow, that sucks. Glad to see you are still breathing. Highside, or lowside? Are you going to bring her back to life?

Well I decided to mount the old headlight back on to save some cash. I installed the projector that wasn't damaged in it so that I can still see.

I also tried to fix the foot peg mount with some epoxy, but that didn't work well so I may need to replace that.

Haha thanks. Hopefully the thread doesn't take a drop again for a very long time. Even though I do love roller-coasters.

Hey man good to see you are ok!! Glad to see that helmet there as well. I used to ride without one every time I rode until I saw what a face looked like after its scraped across the pavement now I won't ride without one. I to had a spill but that was like 10 years ago when I was 18 I ended up with a broken leg and then a few years later I dumped my now ex off the back while doing a wheely at like 60 oops she was ok just a bunch of road rash. It always sucks to go down but you will learn from it in the end. Keep up the repairs and keep us updated along the way. Ride safe!!

Well tonight I ordered a new footpeg mount off ebay.

Total cost of the wreck so far is about $550 including a BS ticket for 'losing control in the canyon.' I'm going to see if I can get the ticket taken off though because the only damage was to me and my bike. No other drivers, vehicles, or property. They shouldn't be able to give me a ticket just for being a new rider and misjudging a curve.

Haha yeah, must have been quite a valuable rock then.

Well I was having my dad help me to bend the brake pedal back to (roughly) a straight angle. We got it close and decided to try just a little bit more and broke the end off. So I have saved a little more money by not buying a new pedal (for now) and drilled a hole and put a grade 5 bolt and nut on it.

Here's a pic of the broken piece and the 'new' pedal. Don't mind my messy work bench.
