Craig yea the ls sport came with a factory lip kit. I have the front lip just needs alittle work. Looked like she loved to bottom out.

Not really a big update. But ordered a new upper rad support. Should come in a couple days. In the mean time i need to drill out the spot welds on the crushed.on and straighten out the mounting points a bit.

Yep selling the Fire.

Updates!

Tear down complete. Have all my parts in order, except for a few odds and ends.

Picked up a fiberglass SS hood for cheap, and decided to cut it up.

Had some evo scoops laying around so decided to make it my own.

still have a little shaping todo before paint but they came out really nice.

Also found me a gem at the yard. an 03 ls sport rear bumper. been looking for one, but they are rare to find in the yard and expensive if you find one for sale. Got it for a steal, $36. Still need to find the side skirts, which are even harder to get my hands on.

The interior is also getting a little makeover. Going to wrap the dash pad and door panel inserts with black suede. Which will go nicely with the custom wrapped black leather seats, that I had in the pontiac.

Should have everything I need by the end of the weekend. So i should have it back together shortly.

Get that body style with the 2.2 ECOTEC in it. NOT the 2.2 OHV. They introduced the new L61 engine platform into the Cavaliers before they changed the body design.

i know that, i just do not like the ecos because EVERY ONE has them, well in the "tuner" part anyway, i wanted the 2.4 with a 5 speed. i tested out a 5speed with a 2.2, probablly an eco, not going to lie they are pretty quick but still, i was running a 2.2 OHV in my 98 with a 3speed thing was a slug but it was alright........

but heres a little funny story for you...................so i was driving around and i see my friends honda civic parked at his house, and he was inside, so i go around town a gew times (my town is small only about 800-1000 people) and i come back, hes bringing something to his car, his civic is a hatchback the kind every one has ,looked like it was spray painted flat black, completely stock, except for the exhaust, so i come up from driving around, i say "your civic is garbage" he says : "Whatever, ill smoke your car" (me being in my blazer) i couldnt help but drive away laughing, then i thought, the only way he could beat me is in the top end speed, i dont know about other peoples blazers but mine slows down a little after about 70, but i laughed at him because he is a bad shifter, he HAD a dodge neon that he blew up going "130", and......the civic was my other friends honda that he crashed into a tree

Lol, I'm sorry I never understood ricer boys yeah, my blazer is slow but I don't go around bragging like it's fast but, hopefully that will all change in a year or two...I think your friend should race a real car instead of trying to race a stock suv.
