My personal papperazi moved 2 hours away to go back to school so now I'm back to having to take my own pics and/or videos for the time being. I did however just get my front output shaft so hopefully I can get my case pulled apart and back together in the next week or two. Still need to get to the yard and get a d shaft yet as well and re gear my front axle. Did some side work for one of my manufactures so I'll have a few hundred bucks coming my way in the next week or so that should help get things moving

Well it took me three days but I made it through all 132 pages of your small build. Can't wait to get my Blazer back later this week, getting really excited to start working on the thing.

Ha! I did the same thing as you. Read all the way through the thread and started ordering parts for my blazer!

I got my 2" lift shackles installed today, turned my torsion keys up 1.5 turns, and got my 2.5" spacers on the rears. Looks much nicer! It was tricky at first getting the lower shackle bolts in with only a floor jack. I ended up using a rachet strap over the leaf and connected to the floor jack. As I lifted the frame the strap pulled down the spring so I could get the bolt through. Worked really well!

LOL, that is the route I have already taken. The spacers really make a difference.

Pulled my 231 case apart today and was happily surprised that it is an HD case with the 1 1/4" chain and has the 6 planetary gears instead of 4. It also appears to have never actually been used in 4wd cause everything looks new with no visible signs of wear on anything so that's a nice bonus on a $130 case! With it being the larger chain I didn't actually need the output shaft so I swapped the xj yoke (thanks again Sean)on cleaned it out real good and put everything back together to dry so I can put some paint on it tomorrow while the weather is nice.

Back together and cleaned up for paint tomorrow

I also picked up a front xj shaft from Kyle (km346). Picked up new ujoints for that today to rebuild it when it gets here.

Thanks Dempsey!

Decided I didn't want to work this am so I went to the yard and got a couple goodies!

I went for the rear piece of the two piece s10 shaft cause it's an inch longer than my factory shaft so I found that and while I was looking for something to lay on (instead of mud) I noticed a xj right next to the s10 so I opened up the door looking for floor mats and wouldn't ya know someone was kid enough to pull the front shaft and put it right there in the back for me! I couldn't convince myself not to grab it as a spare so that came home to. Got back and went ahead and cleaned it up and gave it and the tcase a fancy 5 foot paint job
