Thanks! Mine is still electric in that I have to push the button on the dash to engage the t-case as well as pull the posi lock to engage the front diff. The vaccum system is the most failure prone part of the 4x4 that is why I eliminated it. In the future I will be putting a manual shift on the t-case to remove the electronics from that as well but for now the posi lock works amazingly well. Plus I can crawl around in 2wd low on steep hills with tight turns and things.

I can understand that! Luckily the only other person that drives mine is my wife and shes pretty smart so I just had to show her how to operate it and she was good to go!

Hmmm.... I'm liking this... I'm just part way into putting a CB into my truck. All I could find was a magnetic mount so I'm going to weld a piece of metal to my tire carrier..
spent all afternoon routing the antenna cable behind dash and trim panels..
This really inspires me to lay down some bedliner on my truck! Been getting some scratches up in the bush!

Might be too late but why don't you just get a tube mount for your antenna? That would be the easiest way to go plus they are cheap! I run through brush, rocks, and even over a couple downed trees yesterday and I don't have any scratches at all with the monstaliner.

Picked up a roof top cargo box thingy on CL last night for $40! Its sad looking at it without my rack and all its wonderful accessories Owell its just temporary we are taking the Blaze on a road trip to Siesta Key Florida in two weeks and with a now 6 month old baby and a 14 year old I need all the space I can get! I thought about just getting one of the bag ones and sticking it inside my rack but then I found a good deal on this one and decided I liked the locking feature and I can sell it and probably make a profit when I get home. Now I just gotta figure out where to put the spare tire for the trip! Anyways here's some pics.
It looks bent up but its not its actually in perfect shape!

I think I may have an idea for the tire but if anyone has suggestions please let me know!

Probably not a time worthy thing, but you could do the tire rack from the 2drs? Other than that all i can think of is throw it under your luggage i guess?

I've been going back and forth with doing that for some time now and just can't bring myself to do it! 1. because I know it ruins your view and 2. because I love how my spare looks mounted on my foof rack. That would be the ideal solution though and I will be contemplating doing it for a while longer I suppose. I was thinking of getting some of these and just using them to strap the tire to the tailgate and rest it on top of the bumper for the trip down. I have a storage locker at my condo in FL so I could just take it off for the time that I am there.

I hear you there .. I love my side mirrors and hate my center one.
I think driving tractor trailers for most of my life did this to me tho.
