I need a welder, the house I am in now only has 110 for the electrical... and I am moving into an apartment by july.. FML LOL!

The bug deflector did nothing on the jimmy, bugs still got past it, and it was a trap for snow in the winter, and it would just melt, and cover the grille with ice

 

Hopefully welding my tube bumper on tonight. stock bumper will be gone

 

I've got the welder it's time and materials I can't seem to manage. Definitely looking forward to seeing your sliders and bumpers because its something I've thought about tackling for a while

I actually agree, they look awful but I couldn't get them off. Not my problem anymore someones buying it.

 

Picked up a welder today. Now I can build bumpers and rock sliders I'm so excited to get started gotta buy some steal first tho

 

I'm to cheap to buy the steel unless I have to. My bumper cost me seven bucks for the paint

 

Yeah I hate that I am going to have to buy it but I don't have any at all laying around and I can't seem to find any on CL that anyone is selling so it looks like I get to get butt humped by a supplier if I actually want to build anything

 

Just go to a JY and grab a section of frame rail, cut/weld where you need and bam, a bumper so tough a $2 steak will shy awake from it.

 

So have you welded or are on the learn as you go plan!
