My small 96 Blazer build
Thanks rich! ive been wanting to do mine forever and finally did it just cause i didn't want to work on anything big.
Not much today since it was raining and u didn't have much time at all but I made a very rough cardboard template for the half door project.

I've got a bit of an idea that I think should work ok. I think I'm gonna start on the other door tomorrow since I'm pretty much at a point on this one that I need some steel and gas for the welder so I can weld without blowing through the thin sheet metal so easily.
Well not a lot done today just made a bracket to hold my shift controller in place since the Velcro that comes with it does nothing in the way of holding it where I want it!
On with the pics.

I straightened out the edges a bit before I painted it but its not perfect nor do I care lol

I also had to jump start it when I tried to move it today so I think my battery may be on its way out
It hasn't been moved or started in two weeks. I hooked up my multi-meter and have 14 volts at idle so the alt is working.

I also figured I would see where its at with the ac on high since that causes the efans to come on high and I was wondering where I would be at voltage wise. It bounced around pretty close to 13.2 volts so I even though this should be fine I think I need to do and ad244 soon as well. I have been wanting to do it but just haven't made the time.

oh also, when you did your body lift, did you have to bolt any steering linkages or anything? just making sure I got everything covered when I do the cab mounts, I figure, since I only need to jack the body up about 1 inch or 1.5" i should not have to?
The shift controller is an electronic shift kit it has two stages of firmness on the shifts. I didn't have to do anything with the steering shaft it just extended itself as I jacked. I do have a bit of binding in the steering now but you should be fine since your going back to stock height.
