My small 96 Blazer build
#751
Rex, I'm on my third vacuum switch and second actuator. Went to check the 4x4 and guess what: FAIL! Tranny fluid up the vac line, and that's why I'm on the third vacuum switch. I was told that tranny fluid has cleaning agents that are corrosive to plastics, so I guess that has something to do with it.
So I fixed it, but I just don't trust it anymore.
I got the steel shift cable, and am in the process of making the brackets and I got the coupling ordered. Your write up was a great help
Is the engineer that designed that still alive??? HA

holy crap that blazer is awesome great job on the build and all the ideas you have forming in my head from reading the whole thread, lol yeah it took awhile but it was totally worth it.. are you still working on the half doors? thats a deffinite on the want list here.

I think I have my suspicions about what is coming. Also, I wonder if this build thread will reach 100 pages.
#754
No clue what it's on in normal view, but the way I view pages, it's only on page 19, haha

Thanks for all the compliments guys! As of right now I just need more money before anything can happen lol!
AP the half doors are still in the works I just haven't touched them in a while. I'll get back to them eventually!
Tajohns I would assume this will make it well over 100 with the crap I have planned for it
Sean for us normal viewers it at page 76 lol!

Got the sliders bolted back on after paint finally.
You can see in this pic were they actually fall in relation to the body since they seem to stick out alot in the other picks when they really don't. My plan is to add some 2x2 and make a step that is even with the width of the tires.
+
Now I just have to get them dirty so they blend in!

Paint? All I see is mud....
They look sick though.

The sliders stand out a lot right now since they don't have any mud on them I'll change that tomorrow!!

Do you plan on doing the 96-00 350 vortec swap?
#760
Yeah that's the plan once I find a motor.
