I think I would like the hood better if you only did raised portion of the hood, following the natural lines as opposed to the whole hood.

no problem man, lol I like seeing cars and imagining what I would do with them, so if I can actually help someone with ideas, I'm glad to help.

I wasn't sure if you were wanting new wheels or not, but my first thought was to paint those ones too. I like that style of wheels, so much that one of my racing games, I would put them on pretty much any car I had when customizing them. The only reason I would consider new ones would be to get ones with less backspacing for the rear so they don't look so sunk into the body.

But those ones would look good painted, and would be a lot cheaper.

Actually for the rear i have wheel adapters...again..they work on the blazer so why not my stang.
I plan on raising the rear an inch and setting the rear wheels out an inch on each side.

so i guess its been a month so update time.

i took the rear end apart and when you go looking for rust you will find it.

drive side not to bad.

passenger side was a jackpot.

pounded out a panel to tack in

then glass over that and wrap it up nicely.

and wouldnt be a complete job without some bedliner

my axle is done and once i get my cancer surgery wrapped up i will continue onward towards the mid section of the under belly and continue to clean it up.
after i found these rusty treasures i went poking with my screwdriver and found only two other small spots...one in the trunk floor and one on the pass rocker. other wise it looks solid from here on out.

ok,
time for some new pics.
i have been pretty busy lately, but i am on schedule. today i rolled her outta the barn, time to paint the engine and tie up loose ends on the front section. hopefully she will be road ready in two weeks.

i do love that bedliner.

some hot rear end pics

(dont mind the springs...not in budget yet)

and some out to pasture pics.

tossed on some rear 1/2" adapters...look good on blazer so i figure why not.

now on to the engine.

i put the lower intake on today...paint is next step.
i am also doing the "windstar" intake swap...on last additional mod i swear.

hopefully i will have some engine bay and fully assembled pics soon.
