those clamps have been on just over a year...have never had to touch them after the initial install.
mind you though i am not real hard on my ride as far as off-roading it.
still my daily driver so i have to be rough on it in moderation.

i never went further with this but i am sure there would be a way to trick the aux deck into thinking there was a tape in the unit.
if so the unit could be possibly moved behind dash and condensed.
just a thought.
i know when i disconnect battery the cassette adapter has to be put back in...not a big deal but it would be a nice way to finish this mod.
I`ll have a look at that tomorrow. Maybe i can figure something out to trick the aux deck. That can`t be that hard...

Also give the hose clamps a try. I have some serious heavy duty ones laying around...

glad to help.
i like to give back to the forum as best i can.

it would be great to wrap that deck mod up...i could think of a couple of things i can put in its place.
its one of those things where i moved on because of time and never went back to it.

thanks....i have been real lucky budget wise.
the bds lift was more than all other mods put together two times over.
doing things yourself will save you tons....i saved 700.00 doing bds lift myself..and actually wasnt even that bad of a job.

and craigslist is your friend...i check everyday.
i bought body lift off c-list for 50.00 best find i have had.

Nice! Did you paint the wheels, or did they come that way?
