Holy crap man this is one insane Blazer, I love it! What did you use for your lift kit? I want one but there's so many out there from complete sets to spacer, I'm just not sure where to start. What do you recommend?

thank you for the compliments.

as far as lifts
i used performance accessories for the 2" body lift....good complete kit, easy to do.
as long as the stock body mount hardware comes off clean.

suspension lift, i used bds kit.
its a 5" lift...a little complicated. good kit, instructions are kind of vague, the pics in the manual help though.
the finish on the bds kit i thought was kind of "cheap" for what you pay for the kit.
all in all not to bad though. its a complete kit, i just wish i didnt have to buy steering stabilizer kit separately, you can do without but you can feel the steering when you hit hard bumps.

Did you use the stabilizers that clamp on to the existing centerlink or did you pull a ZR2 centerlink thats made for a stabilizer?

i have not installed a stabilizer yet. the bds kit comes with its own centerlink, they sell a kit that will bolt on to that. i am looking to do it soon, just time is short lately....so is cash for that matter. go figure....

What shocks are you using? I have the trailmaster lift and need new ones. I also am wondering how long you made those extenders for the rear sway. I have asked this in separate threads, but it seems you are the only on on here that has done this.

as far as shocks the kit came with them...have you tried the trailmaster site? i think bds sells shocks that fit there kit as well.
the rear stabilizers are.....roughly 13 3/4 center of "eye to eye" and the steel pipe is about 12.5" long. what i did was cut the stock ones in half then welded them to the steel pipe...i forget the dia. of the pipe.

ok, its been two months so i guess its time for an update.

one mod and one great addition to the rig.

first did the quad mod for the headlights, great mod...simple and to the point.
those are the best ones.

secondly i added these beauties....courtesy of member dimone545 handiwork.
commissioned some tail light guards from him...highly recommend them.
