Project: Batmobile

Today I also used some rocker guard on the frame rails, rear diff and leaf springs. It looks a lot better! You don't notice the underbody now and that's how it should be!
Man those weathertechs are going to be nice in the winter. I love them!
New exhaust today!

It's a Flowmaster Super 40 with 3.5" Stainless rolled tip. I was going to go for dual exits, but the amount of room wouldn't allow it. I would run the risk of melting brake lines, melting mud flaps, hitting the exhaust on the suspension and so on. I decided to play it safe, since this vehicle is an investment, and not a buy then die.
I figured in the long run it is more wise to play it safe. I also saved a ton of money too!! (Cold Air anyone?)
It sounds nice and deep. It's not raspy at all, even at the higher RPMs. It is loud, but not too loud, and almost has no cab drone. The stereo can easily overpower it. And it seems at highway speeds, where the RPMs mellow out, you can hardly hear it at all.
I also remembered that I owe Craig some pics of the tail lights! I'll work on that tomorrow!

VERY nice! Really moving along, I gotta get my exhaust put on soon (as I've been saying for like a month now). Hopefully for me that'll be once I get some stuff done with the new house.
And x2 on more pics of the tails! Those things look sweet.

Tomorrow I am going to paint the chrome on my headlight surrounds and seal up my headlights with some silicone, to hopefully stop them from fogging!
I'll be SURE to snag some pics of the tails, on and off.
