I'm gearing up for a car show on wednesday. Going to vacuum the interior tomorrow for good measure (already cleaned it like crazy). Then I'll wash it on monday and use the Black Box wax detailer on tuesday. Took the lug nut covers off and going to take the mud flap plates off to polish what little chrome I have!

I also went for a little trail ride yesterday to get the craving outta the system.

Also ordered a LED cargo light bulb, 2 more 194 dash bulbs to replace my one that is flickering, oh and some HIDs finally!

Black box worked well. I've spent 10 hours in the last 2 days just cleaning it, not including the interior. She cleaned up well!

As for the car show... I won 1st place for best truck in show! Feels good especially since most other vehicles were students' parents vehicles, where as mine was paid for by me, worked on by me and owned by me!

Got my HIDs also. They looked great... but they wouldn't both work. Need to determine the problem and get them to send a replacement.

Now for pic whoring.

Yeah I still have quite a bit left too. I never used the spray detailer to take the wax or pre-wax off too. It just seemed to make a mess of wax and liquid.

They don't come on consistently at all. Sometimes one, sometimes none, sometimes both. I've narrowed it down to a bad bulb and a bad ballast though. Replacements should be on the way soon.

yea in the directions it says to use the spray detail to wipe off the wax. I thought it was easier and less of a mess to not use it until the end

Yeah exactly what I did too! I only have 6 micro fiber cloths so I couldn't go wasting one on each panel.

Congrats on the well deserved win.

Also, my HID Extra bulbs ended up going out about a year after I got them, which is when they were in Chris' hands (old skool luvr). Warranty and service were excellent though.
