I think it would look great! Black, white and red in my opinion look the best blacked out. I like the red with grey flares too.

They're pretty good now that I have LED bulbs so hey don't melt. One of the screw tabs broke off and had to be JB welded back on during install, they would be better off without that.

Also I can't really say how the outer plastics are holding up since they're tinted now.

Hey got my truck, I drove it back from NorthCarolina just in front of the twisters! Stock its already blacked out except for chrome strip on the nose. It runs like crap, wont pull good after 2500 rpm, uses no oil, doesn't overheat, but shows 200 on temp gage. Darts around in the wind. I'm gonna sell the beast a 2002 Avalanche. 2500 4 wheel. Drive with 8.1 Allison auto. All options except sunroof. 3" body lift, grill white gage Cai tuner Gibson ex.

What did you do to prep the chrome before you painted it?

I just took off the grille and sanded the hell out of it. There are cheap plastic nuts that hold the chrome bar on and it would have been 1000 times easier if I could get them off. I felt they would probably break off.

You have to make sure you sand it good, paint doesn't stick to that plastic chrome very well.

Not true. Use the Bravada dash cover (piece you remove to get to the radio) and it should fit fine.
