Bought new headlights for the Blazer!

They arrived at my house yesterday apparently, which is odd since I don't have them.

I was wondering why they hadn't gotten to my house yet, so I checked the tracking info online. It said they were delivered at 1:39pm yesterday. It also states that no signature was required so they left them on my side steps.

Now that is odd since I don't have any side steps on my house and there is no package to be found. So basically no one knows where they are besides the truck driver. They are going to ask him where he put them and get back to me tomorrow.

Wonderful, thank you Fedex.

That sucks man. I will always pay extra for UPS for that exact reason.

UPS>Postal Service>Random kid on a bike>Not buying item in first place>FedEx

Care to guess if I've had several bad experiences with FedEx also? lol

Guess it's a good thing I don't use them too often... usually it's postal (Canada or states) or Purolator, then UPS (damn brokerage).

Where I live, we're out in the country and live back off the road. My wife's grandmother's house is first then her parents then our house at the end of the drive. I've had the same thing happen only to find out that they left it at the grandmother's house. Most of the time UPS or mail carrier just stops at her parents and leaves it. The only bad thing is if the dog gets hold of it before someone finds it! Fedex left a letter package once at the grandmother's house and I just happen to find it. . . 3 DAYS LATER! I had some motorcycle gloves delivered to her house too, but when tracking showed "delivered" I WENT LOoKING FOR THEM before the dogs did!

It was the eBay sellers choice to use Fedex, and also their choice to select "signature not required" as an option.

For future purchases on eBay I will definitely request that they use Purolator or UPS. Half the problem is that there is no Fedex in town, so they were so quick to toss it on a side step if no one is home.

The only person that knows where it is, is the trucker, who is in Edmonton. I also live in a city where, if someone gets headlights wrongly delivered to them they will most likely try to sell them, or keep them, or destroy them. Despite the package having all of my billing information on it.

I think I have a long day on the phone ahead of me.

I finally got them!

The Fedex guy went and picked them up and gave them to me. They had been sitting on the steps 2 houses down from me for the past couple days.

He thought the "5" on their house number was a "9". Oh my.

He didn't have anything to say for himself either. Just said that the house he left it at looked like it had a 9, and that he didn't trust my dog to not bite him. LOL
