Well just got the check from my other bank for my new car. It's a 2007 cobalt with a 5 speed (no power windows or locks and has only has the 4 banger )

At least you will get good mpgs Its pretty common to get a vehicle similar to that as a first time buyer though cause banks want to be able to recoup as much as possible if you don't make the payments and they have to repo and resell it. I say if you don't really like it that much just drive it and don't modify anything that can't easily be taken off and after a year of making payments on time you shouldn't have any issue buying the next vehicle you want and you will have a decent trade in

 

Damn that's a bummer on not getting the ZR2 but those Cobalts are quite modifiable also...

 

Yeah I'm not sure I'll mod it too much. Maybe some rims, projectors, and some small interior stuff.

 

at least it has the right emblem on the trunk and grille! tint, paint the wheel covers darker grey or black.

 

Yeah I was thinking some tint would be nice.

My stupid cousin was giving me crap about buying a 'domestic' on facebook. Of course his favorite car was a honda prelude with a fart cannon (which he totaled). He said I should have bought a honda instead. I told him honda could suck my bawls, which pissed him off a little. Mission accomplished.

Meh, it's what I could afford. It is a blast to drive though, nice and peppy, even with a 4 cyl.
