TADA! The finished product! Overall, I like this look a lot better, the only downside is, it makes the damage to the grille a bit more noticeable.

Little update: I was having some troubles with my idle last week. I would start my truck, and about 5 seconds later it would sputter and die and the SES light would come on. I pulled apart the MAF and got it all cleaned up, threw it all back together and still had the problem. I rang the guy that installed my engine, he suggested spraying a bit of brake cleaner into the idle positioning valve (i think that's what it was called) while the engine was running. I'm happy to report that the SES light is off, and it idles as it's supposed to!

Another little update, NEW TOY!!!

I like it a lot! But hey, at least you have a couple bikes. I'd rather have and old one, than none at all lol.

Did the rear brakes today! First time they have ever been done since I've owned the truck. It was about time though, seeing as I was stopping with the rivets haha .

Nice high torque trail bike! Love the look of hondas!

May I ask where the idle position valve is?

Thanks, taking the bike to our cabin this weekend. I'll finally be able to ride it like it's meant to be ridden. The race exhaust is just a bit too load in the city haha

As for the valve, I really wish I had a picture, but it's too dark to take one now. I'll explain it the best I can. If you remove the "top hat" from the intake to expose the throttle body, you should see a rectangular hole toward the passenger compartment. The hole in mine was about 2 inches wide (50.8mm) and maybe 1/4 inch deep (6.35mm).

Apparently, the valve is down in that hole according to my mechanic. I can't be to sure though, but spraying cleaner down there solved my problem
