Let me know how you like those tires. I thoroughly enjoy mine but it looks like you might have more time to go off-roading than I do.

i have a long ways to go on my truck but still like having a plan in place.
Thanks, I'm glad to help! I bought my rims used, but I'm 99% sure the backspacing is 4.5". I'd like to get spacer for the rear some day to bring them out and match the fronts.

Will do good man. If everything goes according to plan, I'll be doing a bit of trail riding next week, I'll be sure to let you know how they perform! So far, I have no complaints for on-road driving.

After getting moving into my house at school last week, me and my roommates got a little bored.

We have a decent sized yard for a college town and there's a nice rocky hill on one side that stands about 15ft high.
This is what happened...
First try, slowly creeping in 4lo

Second try, still in 4lo but with a bit more speed haha.

And here's my buddy's Intrepid. The rear passenger side wheel is in the air haha!

Yeah, I got pretty lucky. About half of my friends up here have trucks, and don't mind getting them a bit dirty lol.

So, I went out this morning to go to class and found this...

Turns out, I ran over a screw at some point

But, I have made some progress! Finally got my angle grinder and finished trimming my fenders. Still need a coat of paint to keep it from rusting like it already has haha.

Ive been walking through your build, I like it. I know how you feel about that stupid screw in your tire. Last year I got 4 new michelin's. Drove it home, and the next morning it was flat with a screw in the top edge of the sidewall. I was Pissed!! haha, I shoved a plug in there and it's been working ever since. I'm afraid because of its location, if something were to hit it the wrong way I'm gonna be out of luck.
Gonna put a lift, new tires and such on it anyway, but I gotta find a full time job and get the fuel pressure issue fixed first. Maybe then the gas guage will work to.

Thanks for the compliment! But yeah, finding that screw was a real bummer for sure.

Update: As many of you know, putting a body lift on when you have a brush guard means it takes a bit of work to put the guard back on. I don't really have the equipment or the necessary skills to weld some up so I found myself a different solution!

Wen't to the nearest metal shop and grabbed two 6" pieces of 2"o.d tubing. Measured the holes in my frame rail that the brush guard mounts through and transferred them to the tubing. Cut the holes, painted them up, and slapped them inside the frame rail in between the frame and guard mounts! It cost me about $15 for the tubing and longer bolts/washers.

Here are some updated pictures!
