I'll tape you!

I see what your saying, and I get what you were going for. TBH I will probably go the same route since the undercoating will not help the road noise that gets through the bedliner much anyway like I said 1/3 *** at best is my projection....

AND he did ask you so i graciously bow out, sir.

Well there's not much going on in my build over the holidays. Hell I dropped down to page 2 of the build board!! lol.
I did get my trucks xmas presents in the mail today though, courtesy of Mr. Santiago (Unlimitedsp). My new MAF sensor and my recovery team decal. I was expecting to have to clean the MAF before installing, but Luis took care of that for me (a BIG thank you!).

Should have them installed soon..

lol..you should buy one for your truck! They're for sale in the classified section.
Luis just informed me he sent me the wrong one though. Apparently the one he sent is for K5 Blazers. Looking at it now I see the differences between it and the S10 decals. He is sending me another one (thanks!). So I'll wait to install it until I get the proper one.

Well I lied. I put that decal on my back window just to see if I liked the placement and see if it obstructed my view too much. Pics are in the classified section.

Also, good news!! I got myself a deck for the truck. I got it for free from a buddy since it stopped playing CD's and he didn't want it anymore. It has an AUX input (which is what I'm looking for, I don't care about CD's) so I just have to pickup a mounting kit for that and get it installed. Probably going to be in the new year. I'll snap a pic to put up sometime.

Also more good news - I just got my offer today for a new job within the company. It's a Commercial Sales job which pays a bit more then what I'm doing now, but the best part is I earn 20-40% commission. Hopefully I'll be able to stabilize my financial situation and get some decent mods going on my truck .

So it turns out xmas might not be that bad afterall...new job, more money...

I love the Aux in on my radio. I just wish I put the cord in a better place like by the ashtray instead of through the glove box. I may fix that when I crack my dash open again.

Does anybody else think the MAF on our trucks look restrictive as hell?

*HIJACK* But no, they are not as restrictive as you think they are. I did a comparison a long while ago on the intake system and the MAF is not the smallest part.

OMG! !!!

where's an admin!

*continues with hijack topic* do a search for the MAF screen. people have been debating this for a while with kyle always weighing in on the "leave it be" side. he has numbers (mmm data) to back it up.

Alex: Big score on the deck! i bought a crappy $70 deck with single cd and AUX and iPod prort. I have used the cd slot once i think... they really are a thing of the past
