SS Bumper: yeah i shot you a line that when i didn't hear back from you i was gonna toss it on Craigslist. I got $75 for it (new $375, but it had some light damage) that thing sold in seriously 15 minutes to the first call, 30 minutes to the meeting, 35 minutes back home with $75 bucks yo!
Pics: Ran into a speed bump when it came to bending the skid plate.... maybe another day or two now I will be rolling with it installed by monday NO FAIL.

UPDATE ON SKID PLATE: (i'm a poet) i got 8' of 3/16" fuel line to edge the plate will. i will be using silicone to stick the fuel line to the edges, and then undercoating it. i also got the oil filter access panel cut out. After bending all that is left is lining up the plate, drilling mounting holes, and sticking it to the front

LOVE the new update in the sig...LOL. I laughed when I saw that.

Stitch was able to score me 2 near full cans of undercoating from the shop the other night, so I'll be undercoating everything tomorrow. FINALLY everyone can stop bugging me about the tow hooks...although I'm sure it's not the last I'll hear of it

Tonight I made arun up to my dad's place 91/2 way up MT Hood) because he has a huge shop and it raining. The idea of doing a tune up under an EZ up tant in the driveway while being rained on today didn't appeal to me.

Got a new cap, rotor, wires, and plugs done up. i dont't care what peole say, #3 is not the hardest part of a plug change, while it did suck A LOT, I gt it done fairly easily (having read up first). The part that screwed me out of the most of my time was popping open the godless wire clips Satan crafter for GM to stow their spark plug wires in. Yeah 2 of the plugs were a bit of a pian, but those SOB clips were a HUGE PITA!

That being said, I got my cargo basket. It's a Yakima Load Warrior. It's powder coated black, and I got the center extender, and cargo net to go with it. Will snap a few pics tomorrow when I assemble her...

I got my skid plate bent into shape tonight. It took a whole lot of fire and a whole lot of hammering, but it got the job done. FUN FACT: Unlike steel, aluminum does not turn cherry red when its ready to get bent, it simply melts away.

I FAILED miserably at my attempt to do my lift shackles. got screwed by 2 bolts that even under an impact wrench, would not budge, and all 4 bushings wanted nothing to do with the possibility of coming out. So from 6:00-7:45 tonight I beat on 2 frozen bolts and 4 stubborn bushings, before giving up and returning to stock

This weekend I will be doing Army stuff for our Annual Training Conferance (read as 'check-the-block training and copious amounts of social binge drinking) so I doubt I will be able to get much done (nothing actually).

Pictures of all to follow.

BTW: i got Sisk's tow hooks painted today....

I had 2 new cats welded in and 2 of 3 O2 sensors replaced. The other one is frozen (it's the worst of the bunch too, the one causing problems) and requires more work to be done at a later date. I have a 3 day-2 night extravaganza planned with the wifey and before she see the damage that crap did to the bank account, hopefully we can have an enjoyable vacation. *this will be the first time in 3 years and 8 months that she has been away from our medically screwed up daughter for more than 1 night (took 3 years to get 1 night away).

All other projects are put on hold while I continue CPR to keep my truck alive. Worst case senario, I part here out and one of you a-holes ends up with a new, trimmed, undercoated, custom skid plate Catch you cats in 3 days.

Have fun with the vacation. I'd me more then happy to be the guy that gets the skid plate, but not at the expense of parting out a blazer. You'll get it all worked out and good to go in no time.

Oh yeah, we still need pictures
