Looks good! I think you should definatly cut off the parts covered in black! I think it will look less bulky and cleaner without it. Some bumpers I have seen look way to big on the front of the blazers and s10s. I also think you should do the tubing on there. When I get around to making my bumper I will be doing something very similar to this so the more I can look at yours and the build of yours the easier it will be for me lol!!!

This is a great looking rig, very unique! That custom bumper is going to give it a whole different look as well, keep up the good work. If you're not doing anything with that bull bar you used to have on there let me know I'm interested in it, thank ya.

Oh and i also agree with rex cut where the black is

Well luckily eyes heal fast so im all good now thanks for asking man!

I have made a lot of progress on it but ive just been waiting for some nice weather to completely finish it. the bumper is completely welded together, now i just have to grind all the welds down add some gussets to the mounts on the bumper then weld the receivers onto the frame and add gussets to those as well. So the next time my bumper comes off its staying off!

The bumper is at my friends house so i cant get a picture of it but im going over there today to work on our other blazer cuz it lost the seal around the spider So ill get a picture of it today.

Here it is almost finished on the truck. But after i took this picture i cut the sides off so all that was left was the middle piece because i realized the angles of them werent the same. so i have them tacked back on where they are supposed to be.

It looks a little bit different now after i cut the sides off and tweaked the angles of some of the pieces and i like it better, as you can see in the picture the driver side part of the bumper cuts in under the light and it no longer does that now. At first when i put it on without changing the angles i didnt really like it but after its back on its growing on me and im starting to really like it. and it will look even better when i get all the caps on it.

Right now only one receiver is holding it in place because i ran out of wire before i could do the other one. But its plenty secure for now till i get more wire tomorrow. Also, along with welding the receivers to the frame im going to put a bolt through from top to bottom up front and through the hole in the bumper mount thats already on the frame. so it will be plenty strong.

Also, when i lift it another two inches and get my new rims the bumper will fit in better.
