if its only a 4 gauge run, apparently you can put it through the antennae grommet on the passenger side of the fire wall. i grounded my system to the bolt of the spare tire carrier. there is a flap in the carpet that i ran mine under.

That's not a bad idea, either.

I was also wondering how to get it from firewall to amp. Where should I run it? There's no more room under the door sill.

yes there is. i had a 4 gauge run under there for about 2 years. if you pop up the panel, tuck it down under the carpet you'll be set. if you really want to do it good, unbolt both seats on that side and run it down along the trans tunnel under the carpet and pop it out under the seat.

I may run it under the carpet next to it if the 4 gauge won't fit. It just seemed tight after I ran the audio and remote wires. Well, there may be more room than I think. I don't know, but you've done this before so you would know lol. I'm going to buy the rest of the wiring on Thursday after I get paid.

well, i didn't run it on the passenger side, i have my speaker wires run down the sides of the truck. the RCAs and remote turn on down the right side of the tunnel, the 0 gauge run down the left side of the tunnel. i have a lot of deadener, wiring, and everything. As long as you take your time running it you won't have any problems.

if you rush it, it'll look like you rushed it and look like crap

I'm thinking about just running it beside the tunnel.
Shouldn't be too difficult, and it won't interfere with other wires.

Well I'll be running the power wires tomorrow before work. I may try running it around the driver side under the door sill, but I want to make sure it won't interfere with anything else before I do that. I'm still contemplating running it under the carpet if need be.

As for the ground, I think I'll mount it to the spare tire carrier.

Whenever I do sound deadening I'll be re-routing everything because by then I'll be running a second amp for the speakers so I'll have to run more wires anyways.

I'll have to record the results. I wonder where I should go to test it out...
