Not much progress on any of my projects but the jimmy got put to work on another rescue. I was on my way home from work tonight and seen this poor kid off the road and down the embankment. I stopped to see if I could help.



My neighbor also stopped to help. I hooked on to the front and my neighbor hooked his winch to the back. Through a combination of winching and me pulling we got him back up on the road with no damage.

 

The jimmy got some attention tonight. New upper and lower ball joints and cap,rotor, plugs and wires. Trying to keep the front end together until I can get my sas done.

 

Not sure if you've done BJs before on the purple Jimmy but im sure it was fun to grind out the rivets. We went through multiple drill bits since we didnt have the right ones at the time

 

This wasn't the first set I've replaced lol. I use an air chisel when replacing stock ones though!

 

Got some 35s back on it today.

 

That purple still shines!!

 

Thanks Don. This was just a quick spray wash today. Planning on taking it out tomorrow and playing so didn't put a lot of effort into it today. I wax it 3-4 times a year to try and protect the paint some.

 

I don't think I ever waxed the blazer lol
