That's not too bad! Parts trucks for 300 are always good. Especially if they are in good condition!

 

Dang its been awhile since I've been on here! Update on the Jimmy... I haven't done anything to it lol. Up until the last month I've been driving it with no reverse. The good news is I picked up my parts blazer today. So hopefully the Jimmy will be back on the road soon. The parts blazer will then be a new project!

 

I was wondering what was happening lol... thats a nice looking blazer lol... deacent tires on it lol

 

Thanks Don. I have had a lot going on the last few months. Now that things are starting to settle down some its time to get back to work on the Jimmy and then this blazer. The tires are the 31s off the Jimmy. Ill start a build thread on this blazer. Plans are solid axles and a V8. I have most of the parts already just need some time to do it.

Well plans have changed. Instead of pulling the trans from the blazer to get the jimmy back up and running, I'm going to swap the engine from the jimmy into the blazer. After looking closer at the blazer it is in alot better condition than my jimmy. So the blazer will be put back on the road with a 2" body lift and i think the custom bumper i built on the jimmy. Don't worry though the purple jimmy will be getting a v8 and full size solid axles!

 

Gotta go with what makes sense! Nice that you have that option... looking foward to seeing more of this blazer

 

I'll get more pics this week. I'm keeping it at my work. I have after hours and weekend access to the shop there. If I can get the last 2 bellhousing bolts out it will go alot faster! I swear this engine removal is kicking my @$$.

 

Well I was hoping to have some progress pics to post but life had other plans. The transmission went out in my wife's tahoe the day before Christmas eve so that puts us down to one running vehicle. So whats a guy to do when you've blown all extra cash on Christmas and the only vehicle you have is a rear wheel drive charger and just got 4 inches of fresh snow? Fire up the purple jimmy that doesn't have reverse and hope for the best!
