Stripped the engine, trans and transfer case out of the jimmy today. It took 6 hours. Im getting faster at stripping these trucks down. Im hoping the installation into the blazer will go half as fast. The sooner I get the blazer on the road the sooner I can get the sas and V8 swap done on the jimmy.

Finally some small progress on the jimmy. Starting to build solid axle swap front spring hanger. Got to get a few more projects finished and can focus on this one.

Yea all my projects slowed way down after my motorcycle accident. Then there are always the surprise fixes on the rest of the family's vehicles. I just put a fuel pump in my daughter's car 2 weeks ago only to find out the wiring to the control module was shot. So I spent today rewiring that.

 

Ok time to get back on the jimmy! Here is the new trans and transfer case. Ill have the axles pulled from the suburban next weekend and then I can start putting everything on the jimmy!
