Looking good! The worst part of the job, IMO, is tearing off all the old stuff. Putting it together is way more fun.

I agree! Things are moving forward now and gain momentum! A buddy at work is bringing a set of 40s tomorrow for me to check out.

40s look great, but I'm not a fan of the 20s. IMO, a vehicle used offroad should have more tire and less wheel. But that's just my opinion. take it for what it's worth. I'm like the only person still running 15s, lol.

I won't run anything bigger then 16s... got the zq8s for summer 16s. And the tornado swirly 15s for the winters lol... I got 9 zq8 rims total... 4 that are offroad condition, and 5 then can use a good cleaning to look new. Swirlys are in good shape, I think with minimum curb rash if any lol...

Parents runs the stock 2wd 15s for winters on theirs, and 80s camaro 5 spoke 16s for summers... they could be 15s aswell, but i believe they are 16s...

Edit: didn't leave my 2 cents on tire size...
size 40s look like they will fit nicely on there, how wide are you thinking? I think 12 would be a minimum for me... i want to get 32x10.5 or next size wider for mine with the lift back on... or 34-36 with a 6" lift

Thanks Don. Most 40s I've found are 13.5 wide and between 17 to 24 inch rims. Im still on the hunt for 38-44 inch tall 14-18 inch wide on a 15 inch rim

My Toyos are 14.50 wide, but they're only 37s, and I think the actual measurement may not even be quite that tall. I'm not sure why most tall tires are only 13.50.
