It doesn't do tranny temp.
If you go on princess auto website you can pull up the manual for it and it tells you everything it does.
The scangauge2 has a update that now does tranny temp, it also can tell you hp but I've heard from other forums the hp is a estimate and it told someone they had over 400 hp when the most they had was 200..other than that the scanguage is a better tool than the maxitrip, but I could do 90% of the same stuff as it and for less than a quarter of the cost...I m happy with this tool.
The screen is bright so I'm gonna put a little tint on it.. I can't find the backlight adjustment if there even is 1.
