Default Rim Restoration

I recently bought a set of 91 Camaro Z28 rims for the Blazer. They are 15X7 with 4.5" of backspacing. When I got them they were in great shape for their age, but I have some big plans for them. At first I was only going to paint them black, but once I began I decided that they would look way better if I stripped the clear of the silver areas and polished them. This turned out to be a TON of work, but I feel like they are going to turn out x1000
better than I originally planned I will keep you updated on the progress.

This is what they looked like when I first picked them up.

After some sanding of the paint.

After I stripped the clear off and began sanding and polishing. Still have a way to go before they are the shine I want.

This one is done and ready for paint as soon as the weather gets warm enough.

Let me know what you guys think, and if you have any ideas.

Will,

What paint did you use to paint your wheels? I have a line on a set and am looking into the paint to use.

He sold the truck and I don't think he uses the forum anymore.

Nevermind that he was last was on yesterday, so maybe he does!
