the hack job continues.
so today was the start of the power cable
was having a hard time deciding were to go through the firewall so just decided to go up the floor
but being the mechanic i am i dont have a bit bigger the half inch so got to file it out soon to fit the grommet in

I wont be driving till i clean up the cable underneath so please point out anything u notice that could be a hazard i think i avoided all moving parts but let me know what u guys think

you do have a grommet around the wire in the hole you drilled correct? and also, did you hit the underside of the truck where you drilled through so as not to rust?

other than that, i don't really see any problems so far. someone else might think so but i see good work so far

yeah i should have worded my post better grommet is in place just had to file to make it fit. But good to hear im not screwing things up to bad!!


Should mention my only repairs on the jimmy have been solenoids and new front hubs, so if any one is doing those fixes let me know if u need a tip or two

so you did hit the underside with some paint right? sorry, i forgot to say paint. as long as you do that, you should be golden

yeah spraying again this weekend and hopefully finally getting started on the box now that wiring is done. Ill post some more pics of the wiring and the start of construct this weekend

So the box finally got some action today


here is a couple pics of whats in place
I gave up on the amp on the roof set up but i actually like the new look better
and because it would have been alot more work


let me know what u guys/gals think

not a bad idea at all but why have the speakers point backwards?

The speakers are facing the drivers seat so i still have room in the back to place stuff.

And my next project is now making a bumper!!

just got some parts for it from my neighbor and now is the design time.
I want to make one similar to the TAG bumpers.

so the bumper is going slow

But i now have shackles grille guard and winch for it.

Also just ordered tuff country add-a-leaf so i can go for my new tires

Wanted to see what people think of these wheels
Vision Wheel

and thinking about 265/70/16 wrangler slient armour to go with them
