Ride will get rougher without keys, however.

so keys and torsion bar crank = better ride vs torsion bar crank no new keys means stiffer ride?

Um no.

Cranking only puts more load on them

The new keys reindex the starting point so the are basically cranked from the start.

There is no way it can ride any stiffer since the torsion load is gonna be the exact same to lift the same amount of weight on the same truck, end result still results in cranked bars and stiffer ride.

Simple put

Stock keys take 3 turns to make stock height

Indexed keys take 1 turn to make same height

Ride is the exact same, torsion load is the same

Stock keys take 3+1 turns to raise truck 1 inch

Indexed keys take 1+1 turns to raise 1 inch

Ride is still the exact same, load still the same

Indexed keys only start off with more torsion load on the bars. That's why they can crank the truck higher thab the factory bars. Its still gonna take the same exact torsion load on the bars to lift the same weight. Keys don't do anything magic to change rates of the t-bars. When it takes XXX force to lift your truck its gonna take XXX force no matter the starting or ending point.

It drops the diff down to keep the CVs from blowing up when you do a T-Bar crank. It's a must and a lot of IFS(Independent Front suspension) truck lift kits, 5"~6" and the like, have to cut the top mount off and use a modified mount. It's the bettter way to go.

Nitrogen embrittlement is the problem on the first batch - I'm waiting a while, Like anything new - Yay for the early adopters!

Negative, the kit already involves pushing the tbars.
