Yeah, the RC kit is basically the t-bar crank we do now. It just lowers the front diff to help make the cv angles better. The a arms were supposed to make the ball joint angles better. Supposed to fix the problems of parts wearing out. If they would leave out the keys and shocks to lower the price it might be worth it. The factory keys are good enough to raise the truck 2 inches if the t-bars are not worn out. The shocks, well they don't impress me. Much better shocks for what they charge. Ditching those 2 items should lower the price into the 2-300 range and be well worth it for the kit.

I get the new parts today and I am getting them put on tomorrow! WOOT! By new parts I mean the new upper control arms and the re-redesigned <---lol ball joints.
Really, I don't even mind...this reckless is going to handle like pure sexual intercourse. =]

Try to get some pics, hopefully side by side shots to see the difference if any in the arms.

I also ordered and installed the RC kit, then got the phone call from them saying not to drive it, we'll send you new arms with better ball joints, got the arms yesterday, well, the bottom of the arms have two spots that looks like someone used a grinder on them, call RC and he said something like it needed more angle or something to that effect. I said it doesnt look like a bend more of a grinder was used, so I took pics and sent them to the guy,he responded back with " what the R&D department did for more angle was put them in a press". I know what a press will do and I know what grinders will do, and when you remove material its going to make it weaker. I look forward to see what others get for replacements.

Got the same thing in the mail yesterday, dude. I don't think that they'll have any problems and the welds look thicker too. My ball joint cups are just hanging there though....do I slide those over?

I tended to that situation after looking at it for a minute.

Did you put the new arms on? Did the arms look like they were ground on the bottom or what did yours look like.

Put the new arms on yesterday. Deifinitely a difference in ride quality vs. The clunkiness of the other ones. I also climbed a snow barrier to get to another parking lot on a pizza run. With the cooper stt's it walked right over it. And yes, it was as high as my bumper and at one point all of my wheels were up on it at the same time. It was really, really impressive. Definitely can't go wrong with this kit. Amazing clearance.
