Rough Country 2.5" Lift!!!!
No. When I ordered my RC 2" lift way back in june it was an option thru 4wheelingplus.com for it and the steering stabilizer at extra cost. I bought it because the Bravada sags to the bump stops almost whenever I pull anything w/ it so I wanted alittle extra support in the rear end for hauling.
& as far as the frame rub goes remember its only 2.5" lift! I have a 2" on the truck right now w/ the t-bars turned up BUT not cranked all the way & 2" shackles & I have rub on the frame at full turn or pulling in to an incline drive way or such. I hoped the extra half inch might cure that but as you've said your rubbing I'm guessing not.. Don't fuss over it'll come 2nd nature to know where to stop so you don't rub real quick! lol.. It's weird for me to drive my fiancee's AWD Vibe & to be able to turn past that point in it w/ out hearing any rubbin. But then again that thing turns on a dime compared to a blazer lol
if you tweaked the T-bars after you already got an alignment then yes you do have to get another alignment done.

I called rough country and they said that the blazer they have does not rub at all. He said that I needed to adjust the steering stop, but I was out for a joyride today with it after the speedometer vibration and tire balancing and it went well anyways as far as turning goes. I am going to put on a steering stabilizer though because she is kind of squirrely at the moment. Rides somewhat stiff too...

Mine was throwing grease after just a torsion bar crank. Turned out the sway bar end links were fubar'd. Haven't had any problems since replacing them. Might be something to check.
If the boots are still good the clamps are cheap at napa and not horribly hard to put in. If boots are bad they are also cheap at your local napa, either way you will save a ton by not replacing the whole axle.
