I pay 0,5 eurocent for 1 litre of propane and 1,6 for 1 litre of petrol ... so roughly one third. But unless you have state of the art liquid propane injection with 1 injector per cilinder ( and I have not ) it needs more litres of propane compared to driving on petrol to get the same distance ... but it's still a lot cheaper.
Time ? No not at all, I do +/- 200 miles with 65 litres of propane. Roughly estimated I would only need 50 litres of petrol to do that distance.
