I would hate the different look. Maybe if I ever decide to redo the turns like that, that's how I'll do it.

 

So I'll be getting some extra cash at the end of the month and am now debating on what I could do with it. I know I'll be picking up at least a T1 rockford 15" sub, or maybe the T2 just to have the headroom (and the 2" of Xmax )and I might go with a eibach lowering kit with front and rear swaybars, or maybe a K&N intake. We'll see.

 

niice sub, but curious, why rockford, and not something like FI or SA? if you are spending that kind of money.

 

Hmm, I've never been able to see much from SA's website until today. Maybe a Fi sp415. That thing looks beefy, and seems to be able to handle its self well under power. Of course I'd have to get a new amp to drive said beast.

Maybe I'll go with the Fi sub for now, (maybe the alt too) then upgrade the rest when I have some (read: A LOT OF) spare cash.

Yeah after talking to alton for a min I think it would be just a little overkill. Not that that is a bad thing, it's just gonna get expensive quick and I'm not entirely sure I'm committed to the amount of work it would require.

I'm thinking of finding a different sub that my current amp can push and get / build a good box and call it good.

 

Good idea, I got to thinking of the work it would take for a fi, and yeah, gotta be committed to it.

 

I'm thinking the SA X15 or X12 now, IF I can find a place that sells it. That's my main issue with SA, it always seems to be a run around to find a place that sells their stuff.

Yeah but you heard him say he isn't on very often anymore. I'm sure I can find a place, the question will be how long will the wait be. I get impatient, mainly because my mind is always changing (if you couldn't tell already. )

In the meantime, I ordered a few parts while waiting for funds for the bigger stuff. A set of R5 Cree backup lights. A digital voltmeter gauge, and stock SS A-pillar (which, for those who don't know, has a gauge pod molded into the pillar for a boost gauge.) And another two sets of the led reflectors for the 3rd brake light.
