its going to be hard to find a good gauge that will fit in that pod that is remote activated. I am just going to get myself a stinger, it has a power, ground, and remote wire to hook directly to the amp. so when the amp turns on, the meter turns on, but its square, so that wont work for you.

 

I don't need it to be remote activated. I circumvented that by using a relay that is triggered by the radio ign and provides a direct link to the batt.

I just have it in the prefab box I have for now, until sat when I'll have time to build the correct sized sealed box. But for now anyway it sounds really sweet. I'm keeping it on a leash for the moment to avoid any damage this incorrect box could cause.

 

beast mode! did you have a sub in this before? i cant remember.

 

I did, for a week, but that sub wanted 9 cubes. Needless to say the 2cf box I had did a number on the poor thing.

 

9 cubes?? What sub was it? that thing was air space hungry.

 

It was a dayton 15, I'm pretty sure it was a home audio sub so it was designed different.
