Default Synergy hidden winch mount

Anybody have photos of one of these installed or in the process? Have heard that frame horns may have to be "trimmed". Wondering how much work is required. Also have heard some mods have to e made to fit in a winch as well. Thanks.

It probably depends a lot on which winch you use. I have a XRC8 winch mounted to mine and I did have to trim the frame horns, but that was it. No other firment problems. I don't have a pic right off hand but the fit is good.

Different mount in my case (bought from 4wdFactory, but doesn't appear they sell them any more...), but also using a Smittybilt XRC8, in order to have it centered, I had to do some trimming on the frame horn bumper mounting area. Not much, just a little clearancing. Mainly on the passenger side, but I did both sides just because I already had the cutoff wheel in my hand lol. I also notched my bumper to allow access to the winch. And the mount conveniently nestled in between the uprights of my brushguard, so win
