The bar is all welded up and just needs a wipe down and some paint. The holes in the front will be getting some amber LED's as running/marker lights. The CB antenna is an old one I had knocking around, I have that stainless whip and a five foot stars and stripes firestick but that might be a bit too rigid for the roof so I might just buy a cheapo springer one. Need to get some 8mm bolts and nylocs and order the leds and then sort out the wiring. After that its a matter of knocking up some captive nuts and a dry day to dismantle the roof rails so I can slide them in.

Looking good, how far forward is it of the sunroof?

No sunroof on this one. It's painted now, two coats of etch primer and four coats of satin black. I'm now waiting on all stainless steel bolts to mount everything with and some amber leds to use as marker lights and all the bits and bobs to wire it up.

You have a rare RHD Blazer then if it doesn't have a sunroof, because according to Chevrolet all of the Blazers that were imported for the UK market came with the sunroof fitted. It looks like yours was destined to go further afield to possibly Australia and never made the journey.

It's also got a manual transmission which is extremely rare, never seen another one advertised in the UK. It's also an LS rather than the LT so cloth seats rather than leather, I wondered if this is why no sunroof. The first owner is listed as GM Europe so it may have been a demonstrator.

If it's an LS than it was either one of the first demonstrators or it was due to be imported to Australia or Japan and just never got that far.

Really nice job on the light bar. It is very subtle.

Thanks, still got to get around to all the wiring and then mount it up. The LED marker lights are going to add a little extra to it too.
