Ok so here is what I got. I have a 1999 blazer 2 door, 4 wheel drive. I love this ol rig. I have the 4.3 in her but have a 5. 7 lined up for when this old girl dies, which can't be much longer with how I use it. My question here is I have a 1997 suburban at my fingertips. Lucky me it already has the 4l60e and it's 4x4! Seems like the perfect find! The dude wants next to nothing for it so I am going to be jumping on it when he gets back in town Monday. So my question, I pull 4.3, put 5.7 in, can I save myself some trouble here and just use the harness as well as the computer from the v8? I am no electrician and don't want to be doing the splitting wires and adding injection wires and so fourth. I also don't want to have to have my 4.3 computer revamped. Would the ol blazer take to the 5.7 computer??? Help me out fellas, smart a** comments are welcome since this is my first post!
