Oil cooler line was leaking. So we just bypassed it for now. Winter is coming, and I don't do any heaving load driving with it, so I'm not worried.

I got the last stock ujoint replaced on the rear double carbon driveshaft swapped out. There's one ujoint on the front tiny driveshaft before the center bearing that I have to look at, still have a tiny vibration...

Gonna weld on a patches of metal on the passenger side to get rid of the rust, hopefully before winter.

If I didn't have bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all!

That's an unfortunate run of luck there Don. Hopefully things take a better turn for you.

I will say that the truck is looking really nice. I love those fender flares on there. Just the right subtle touch to go along with those rims and stance.

Thanks! They are part of the extreme body kit, and fit perfectly!

Unfortunately with the time of season, holidays and bdays coming, plus need to build a little wooden "shelter" as a temporary shed, time to squeeze in work is almost non existent lol... but it'll get there!(famous last words lol)...

I know exactly what you're talking about. I have 4 or 5 different projects for my Sonoma that I'm half way through, or are on my list of things I want to do, that are on hold due to my being too busy and/or the weather.

U pull cashes out again!! Got an arm rest intact, and a center console lid. Driver and passenger door handles with 2 keys(blazer driver door hasn't had a key in 3+ years), 3 center caps for my winter swirlys, a 3rd tail light cover for the sonoma(mine has burn marks), a MAF for the blazer(dirty old used one with the k&n filter is temperamental)...

And the big score for the sonoma, a 1 piece driveshaft! no more double cordon bs!!!

Sexy!!!! U joints are good and greasable!

Nice finds.

I've never seen a double joint drive shaft like that on a S-series truck. Weird. I just swapped out the steel drive shaft on mine for one of the aluminium ones from a wrecked truck.

Out of all the sonomas I've come across at the yards, this is the 2nd I've seen that didn't have the double joints... not sure why lol... guess it's just a money grab part... who need 4 ujoints on a 2wd truck??

As for the aluminum one, what model did you pull it from?
