I hear you!!! I need it to be warm so I can tear my New project apart!!!!!

Today I bought a 1997 GMC Jimmy 4 door 4x4 with front end damage.

141k miles on body and tranny
5k on rebuilt motor
Brand new tires
Body parts behind the fenders are in pristine shape!

Heres the best part.... Only spent $250!!! Clear title and everything, drove it home (5 miles or so) runs and drive just fine. I basically just stole a Jimmy.

Planning on parting out Motor, tranny, tcase, Diffs, Interior, body panels, and sending the rest to scrap. I should double or triple my money!!!

Here she is!

Girlfriend drove the blazer..... Got into an accident, been busy as heck.... you know how that goes. I shall update my build now..... zzzzz

Accident

Borrowed a neighbors wheels so I could get it to a frame/suspension shop. (frame is good, but the upper control arms were pancaked in)

New wheels

Rear bumper assembly (swapped off a 97 jimmy)

Said goodbye to my parts jimmy.

Got a front clip off a 1999 for $300

Hood is a little off..... SH*T

Broken parts :'(

Need to fix the minivan bumper (dad hit a snowbank)

the hood just needs to be adjusted. just loosen the bolts a little bit so that they are still kinda tight, and then move the front of the hood to the left a little bit. (thats while you are standing in front.)

the 4x4 might be the actuator under the battery tray. check this out.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried adjusting the hood pins that I believe you are referring to. Thats to no avail, The core support somewhat "floats" so I need to remove the fenders again and just mover it to the left a little, I will try that this weekend.

Thanks for the 4x4 link

Yeah not really any adjustment in the hood itself you will have to adjust the fender to get it straight.
