well my friend from school is more of just a friend. i liked her roommate before i met her and it would just complicate all of our lives lol. she did like me for a while, but for some reason i just never saw her like that, i felt really bad too. but she is a cool girl. now she drives a jetta and promised to me that she will keep it clean and looking mint lol

i have to admit that has never happened to me but try telling them if they were willing to pay more than $300 for a vehicle maybe it would be worth the pocket change it takes to tell what color their car actually is
i was stationed with a guy that had a hole rusted through his body on his civic hatch back and didnt want to fix it because he didnt want it to look trashy with a primered patch on it i tried to explain the fact that a rusted hole through the body looks just a little trashier then primer especially if he doesnt do anything about it its just gonna get bigger

I get made fun of by my dad...lol
But for the opposite reason. He details and I don't. I guess I do other things with my time and let mother nature keep it clean.
I mean...I do use a car wash and occasionally vacuum the inside and dust it out, but not like my dad.
Realize this...his first car was a 51 Oldsmobile. He HAD to keep it washed and waxed or it would be a rust bucket. But the newer cars don't rust as much or as easily.

I know exactly where you are coming from my friends always tease me about my vehicles. But they are a Red 1999 Dakota with 190k a Black 05 Blazer with 140k and Black 99 Jetta with 170k they all still look brand new. I was even asked if the paint on my Dakota was a custom job. One friend of mine bought a 03 Black Jetta the dealer even fully detailed for him 6 months later it looks like it went through the wringer.
