Default getting rid of mud and grease

Can some tell me of any type of cleaner to remove dried mud and grease off of the engine area of my blazer?

Simple green works pretty good for just about everything. Wheel wells, engine ( after covering the usual parts before dousing), tires, bug splats, tar, road grime, wheels. Give it a shot it should take care of what you got under there. If it doesn't let me know and I can point you toward something a little bit stronger.
