Default Help with exterior scratches

I just bought a 97 Chevy Blazer. The rear bumper has scratches on it. What would be an easy and cheap, yet good way to get rid of them?

Rubbing compund, then polishing compound. If they are light scratches you can skip the rubbing compound. Just take it easy because this is takes away from your clear coat. Finish with some paste wax.
