ok so i made a post with the same thing about a month or two ago but a user (forget the name) ihe asked for a photo but didnt have a camara at the time but recen tly got one on my phone. so i got it now

now iam lookin at the pic and the streaks are on the the panel u take of to get to the lugs any ideas to get em off

 

Yea there's a neat little cover that they have at the dealership that is almost exactly like that one....except it doesn't have any streaks. LOL-I'm not tryin to give you a hard time or anything. I would just buy new ones

Oh, and the lug nut covers just pop off.

Oh heck yeah they are. They don't fix things like that... They'll want to just replace the rim. I'd take it to a body shop and have them strip it down, polish it again, and re-clear the rim. The streaking is under the clear coat.

 

I saw on ebay, a guy who sells them reconditioned for 70 bucks for all 4. I'm thinking of getting a set for myself cause mine are all chewed up from whoever owned my truck before me. They look really good in the auction. Here's a link to it.
