i m just curious...how impossible is to get a manual transmisson put in an auto blazer? i would imagine pretty impossible cuz u gotta put in a clutch and everything....i hate having an auto

New computer pos. need tranny, clutch, flywheel, master cylinder(drill hole for master), cut hole for stick, etc.

Easier just to buy a manual blazer
Tried it with the mustang... too much hassle.

I agree, by time your done with it, you would have been better off buying the manual to begin with.

yea it is damn near impossible to switch to a manual.
however after a conversation with a friend of mine i came to a conclusion that works out well
why do you want a manual?
just so you can shift at will. and therefore maximize your speed and all that jazz.
well anyway i had a point.
is that why. because if it is there is a column shifter that you can buy for an automatic transmission.
i got one.
and the shifter gives you the option of either being in full auto, or manual shift.yea
i like it.

i just enjoy driving manuals a lot more and since i might be needing a new transmission some time in the future i was wondering if it was even an option...right now i hav the thing on the colomn where you can downshift and all that jazz but it is still an auto

yah it is kinda fun to have a 5 spd blazer. I have a ton of fun in mine.
