Default carb 2 efi

ok heres the deal. I've got a small block with 350hp and 350ft/lbs of torque sittin around.(originally was for my trans-am, but gave the car to my father) I want to swap it into my k5 which is fuel injected. the motor was set up for an edelbrock performer rpm manny, 750cfm carb and headers. if I put on my efi mannifold, throttle body, and exhaust manifolds, will that motor be starving for air? it has 10.5:1 compression ratio if that makes a differance. im kinda short on cash right now, but i hate seein that nice clean painted engine just sitting there. mabye i should port the intake? any suggestions? damn, thats a lotta typing

What year is the motor you want to put in your 88? You'll definately need post 86' motor for the 88' manifold to fit. Not only that, but pre 86' had a completely different style block all around. None of the 88' front accessories, like water pump, or alternator would fit if your new motor was pre 86'. Post 86' became a serpentine belt design, unless I'm mistaken? Hope that helps ya.

im not sure what year the motor is, but they look the same. i was looking at it and all the holes on the block look the same(water pump, knock sensor exhaust ports...) i didn't look too hard though. the block in the 88 now still has v belts, so i think i can still use all the accessories. i dunno, i got a bunch of crap i can mix and match. i actually had it in my 87 3/4 ton for about a week before i blew the tranny 5 years ago...i used to beat the crap outta that thing 4-wheelin. so i junked it, but pulled the motor back out. my blazer needs to pass emissions, but i don't think it will carburated. stupid emissions[:@]

i just posted the same thing. how much more work is needed to make this 350 that i am getting into fuel injected. 350 long block includes everything except intake manifold. i want to put it in my 95 s10 blzr 4.3 vortec.
