What has been done to the 4.3 CPI is new spider, some polishing on the intake runners (upper and lower). Air breather modified. Any ideas would help. Thanks.

(CAI) cold air intake and exhaust up grade will give some but these are not street racers. I put CAI and exhaust upgrade on mine can tell a lil more power but not a lot. Thinking about getting headers but not sure if it would be worth it. Im just glad it's running well and starting now.... lol

 

I have been doing some thinking on that.

 

nothing really can do much.

cpi is limited due to preset fuel pressure. cant have tons more hp and no fuel additive.

intake,exhaust,maybe some polish. thats it. you can always do the marine intake upgrade and a carb...but hey....you will spend 800+ and maybe gain 50.

v8 upgrade time. i wish cpi was better, as ive got it. /sad

 

It sounds like it maybe time for a 383.
