Ignition Upgrades..
I am looking into upgrading my ignition system with a full msd setup, now the problem i am having is that msd only has a coil for 96 -99 vortec v6's ( at least to my knowledge) and i am not sure why i need a 6-aL when i dont need the rev limiter cut out? cant i just use a 6-A? and for the wires i found some for a 96-99 blazer once again, would these all work with my 2003??

Just playing devils advocate here but -----
Why do you need to upgrade the stock system? I think the stock ignition setup in good working order would probably provide all the spark you could use and not empty your wallet. Only engines with SIGNIFICANT upgrades - cams, superchargers, turbo chargers, stroker setups will need more spark energy to make them run properly.
Try a good tune up with AC Delco OEM spec parts - plugs, wires, cap and rotor.

^^ agreed, seafoam it before you change the plugs, that'll help too.
