Default is this possible...?

Im wondering if this has been done or can be done......please help

I have a 93 Blazer 4.3 cpi vortec, Im thinking about getting a 94-and up head and intake assembly and drop it on. Will I have to get a new ECU or will my current one work?

Otherwise after looking at the intake on the 93 vortech it seem as if a aluminum plate could be welded inside the upper manifold to isolate the air flow from the "stupid gas leaking" that is very enevatable in the lower intake assembly on this engine.....I have repatedly fixed the spider valve-fpr-nut kit and am aboutt o give up on it all

I was under the impression that a 95 or newer TBI unit will bolt to the 94 heads, but I may be wrong. I have been considering this for a while. I hate the CPI. I am interested in this subject.
