Default problem with my 4.3

i am getting spark to the plugs... i have a new spider assembly, new coil, new cap, new rotor, wires, etc....

the truck wont start
it cranks all day long....

spark plug is dry, so i thought the spider assy. but it still wont fire.
fuel pump pressure is 38 PSI with ignition in the ON position and 55 PSI when cranking... i have heard that the fuwl pump is bad, but i am getting 55 PSI at cranking...

if i put gas into the intake /throttle body, it WILL fire and run, rough but it runs, this tells me that it is fuel related.... so why is the fuel NOT getting to the cylinders??

someone else said that the pick up coil is bad.... but like i said i am getting spark to the cylinders..
compression check got a 140 PSI reading.

new MAP sensor didnt help
new IAC sensor didnt help

please help with any ideas

Hi there.
My moms truck had the same problem and results you had. We also went through the same replacment parts as you have. It turned out to be the new fuel pump that was put in about 6-7 months earlier. It had a pin hole in the hose that connects the fuel pump up to the top where the fuel lines connect inside. We bought a fuel pump rebuild kit off E-bay for about 60.00 instead of a (almost) 300.00 fuel pump. Runs great now.

Just a thought.

Are you getting fuel ? Pull the dipstick, and see if you smell fuel. If you are getting fuel, and spark, then your problem may be the ECU. try to swap it out just to see if that helps. This happened to a friend of mine, and it was the ECU. Good luck, hope this helps

Pretty sure you need 60psi at crank, and 50-55 while driving. Check your Haynes manual. Or check out AutoZones website.
